Peer Support Groups Continue on Zoom
The Buckinghamshire peer support group next meets tomorrow 7pm Monday 12th April. Our topic of focus is ‘connection’. With the possibilities of lockdown easing, how can we reconnect with our support network safely? We will talk about the anxiety, fear, and confusion around leaving lockdown restrictions while brainstorming mechanisms to cope with the pressures.
- Social media & mental health
- COVID-19 anxieties
- Relationships & isolation
- Finances & work
As lockdown eases and restrictions slowly start lifting over the coming months, we hope to learn more about our Milton Keynes venue, Unity Park Station, reopening for face to face support group sessions. It is likely, due to social distancing, free beverages and snacks will not be provided.

Crisis lines, advice and social media
Our organisation is now on TikTok giving mental health trips and updates about our support group. Follow @lightermindsuk.
We have a variety of platforms that you can use to get in touch for crisis lines, advice, support or questions. There are other services listed on the website.
Please note volunteers are not trained medical professionals, just fellow sufferers who provide an ear of experience. Speak to your GP and go to A&E if suicidal.
Our crisis lines are available evenings Mon-Friday (8pm-10pm) and weekends (8am-8pm).
